Baby Scrapbooking Ideas

Having a baby come into your life is one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences anyone can have.  By the way I am not talking about the giving birth part, that might not be so enjoyable but I am talking about the baby being part of your life.  From the minute they are born, every tiny thing they do is a sweet memory to you and your family.  One way to preserve these memories is to scrapbook them.  Let’s look at some baby scrapbooking ideas.

The first baby scrapbooking ideas I could think of is to take lots and lots of photos.  You want photos of milestones they achieve, i.e. sitting up, smiling, crawling etc.  Your baby will grow up fast, so have your camera handy, don’t ever think I will take some tomorrow because tomorrow you will be just as busy and tired as you are now.

There is also a huge amount of stuff that you can collect from around the place to use to in your baby 12×12 scrapbook album.  Here is a list of baby scrapbooking ideas about that sort of stuff.
•    Ultrasound photos
•    Photos of you pregnant
•    Baby shower invitations and photos
•    Meaning of the baby’s name
•    Cute baby quotes
•    Hospital bracelet
•    Cards that you have received
•    Nappy pins
•    Photos and details of all the baby’s firsts ie first crawl etc
•    Photos of everything do to with the baby

Next let’s look at some colours for baby scrapbooking ideas.  The first two that would come to mind for most people is blue for a baby boy or pink for a baby girl but there are many other colour combinations that are used to great effect on baby pages.  Most colours used would be pastel and pale colours.  However I don’t mind using some sort of bold colour on my pages.  It only has to be a bit but I think it adds to the page.  But colours all depend on the individual and the sort of photo and baby they have.  So use your creativity and have fun looking and experimenting with baby scrapbooking ideas for colours.

Let’s now have a look at some baby scrapbooking ideas about layouts.  Many beautiful baby layouts have one main focus point and normally one picture.  Having only one photo on a scrapbooking page makes that page dramatic.  However one word of warning, having one photo on a page only works well if you have a great photo.  It needs to be a picture that jumps out at you.  The picture needs to make a statement.  Using two photos on a page is harder because elements on a scrapbooking page look much better to the eye when grouped in odd number sets.  That’s not to say you can’t just use two photos but be careful.  Having three photos to put on a scrapbooking page is probably the easiest way to go.

A list of quick baby scrapbooking ideas and tips

These are just a few baby scrapbooking ideas.  So experiment a heap and have fun scrapbooking the life of your baby.
